An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ruzomberok. Third ranked MBK Ruzomberok faced 4th placed Samorin. Host MBK Ruzomberok (9-1) smashed guests from Samorin (6-5) 72-52. They outrebounded Samorin 41-27 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was international forward Miroslava Prazenicova (184-97) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Montenegrin guard Sofija Zivaljevic (179-97, college: NDSU) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Timea Sujova (172-84) produced 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Radoslava Ostadalova (178-99) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. MBK Ruzomberok have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Samorin at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. MBK Ruzomberok are looking forward to face Young Angels (#3) in Kosice in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Samorin will play at home against Nova Ves and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
