Baskonia outrebounded Gipuzkoa 37-26 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Pierria Henry (193-93, college: Charlotte) fired 21 points and 5 assists for the winners (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Lithuanian forward Rokas Giedraitis (200-92) chipped in 17 points. Four Baskonia players scored in double figures. Baskonia's coach Dusko Ivanovic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Montenegrin Dino Radoncic (202-99) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and DR Congolese center Viny Okouo (215-97) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Gipuzkoa lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with ten games lost.
