Regular Season Round 19: Saga B. - FE Nagoya 77-64

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Saga. First ranked Saga B. faced their biggest opponent FE Nagoya. Host Saga B. (13-6) defeated guests from Nagoya (10-9) 77-64. Saga B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. American center Kenny Lawson (207-88, college: Creighton) helped adding 18 points and 11 rebounds. Four Saga B. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Saga B. maintains first place with 13-6 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser FE Nagoya keeps the second position with nine games lost. They share it with Fukuoka R.. Saga B. will meet at home Bambitious N. (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. FE Nagoya will play against Orange Vikings (#6) in Matsuyama and hope to secure a win.
