There was no surprise when Ramat Hasharon was defeated at home by Ramla 85-75. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. American players dominated also this game. Guard Tiffany Mitchell (175-94, college: S.Carolina) notched 29 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Betnijah Laney (183-93, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 31 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Even a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds by center Alaina Coates (193-95, college: S.Carolina) did not help to save the game for Ramat Hasharon. Guard Jennie Simms (183-94, college: ODU) added 20 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Ramla's next round opponent will be Raanana. Ramat Hasharon will play against Bnot Hertzeliya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
