Orchesien BC's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat CFBB (1-4) 73-47 on Tuesday. Orchesien BC made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 CFBB turnovers and outrebounded them 38-19 including a 29-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lithuanian forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (203-90) nailed 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winning side and guard Simon Cretaux (190-89) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds. Armel Traore (200-3) came up with 19 points and guard Aurele Brena-Chemille (186-4) added 5 points respectively for CFBB in the defeat. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Orchesien BC (1-2) left bottom position moving up to ninth place in Group B, which they share with Besancon. Loser CFBB dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. They share it with Kaysersberg. Orchesien BC will again meet CFBB (#12) in the next round. CFBB will have a break next round.
