Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Viladecans (6-3) outplayed on the road 12th ranked Andratx (1-6) 75-45 on Tuesday. Viladecans dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Andratx's 16. Viladecans forced 29 Andratx turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Andratx's players. Quite impressive performance for power forward Silvia Marcelo (188-93) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Claudia Relancio (-96) contributed with 7 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Nigerian forward Nkem Akaraiwe (185-96) replied with 5 points and 10 rebounds and Colombian forward Luz Asprilla (183-92) added 5 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Andratx. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Viladecans maintains fourth position in Group C with 6-3 record. Andratx at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the twelfth place with six games lost. Viladecans will face league's second-placed Maresme in Barcelona in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Andratx will play on the road against the league's leader Barca CBS (#1) in Barcelona and hope to win that game.
