Rather expected game when 11th ranked Kaysersberg (1-4) lost on the road to ninth ranked Caen (2-1) 78-70. Caen outrebounded Kaysersberg 38-27 including 23 on the defensive glass. Swingman Florian Thibedore (194-90) fired 23 points for the winners. Point guard Aurelien Rigaux (178-88) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Caen's coach Fabrice Courcier used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Melvyn Govindy (212-97) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Kevin Walter (188-88) added 23 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Caen moved-up to eighth place in Group B. Kaysersberg lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. Caen's next round opponent will be Besancon (#9) at home. Kaysersberg will play against SO Maritime Boulogne and hope to win that game.
