Regular Season Round 3: Sibiu - Focsani 102-72

There was no surprise when Focsani (0-2) was crushed on the road by Sibiu (2-0) 102-72. The game without a history. Sibiu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Focsani's 24. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for guard Marquis Addison (193-91, college: MSSU) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. Guard KJ Jackson (188-98, college: UMBC, agency: Players Group) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Sibiu players scored in double figures. Forward Robert Sampson (203-92, college: Georgia Tech) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Randal Falker (201-85, college: SIU) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Focsani. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sibiu will play against Pitesti (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Focsani will play against Miercurea Ciuc (#13) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
