The game between Top Four teams took place in Doha. host Al Arabi (3-0) defeated Al Wakrah (2-1) 89-82. Al Arabi looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was South Sudanese-Lebanese center Ater Majok (208-87, college: UConn) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international forward Sammy Monroe (198-85, college: Newberry) chipped in 26 points and 9 rebounds. Monroe is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was American Julius Coles-Jr (193-89, college: Canisius) who recorded 41 points (!!!) and 5 assists and the other American import forward Nick Stover (198-93, college: USA) added 17 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Five Al Arabi and four Al Wakrah players scored in double figures. Al Arabi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Doha to the arena Al Gharafa.
