Regular Season Round 10: Buducnost - Mornar Bar 78-84

One of the most interesting games of round 10 was a derby match between two teams from Montenegro. The game took place in Podgorica where fourth ranked Mornar Bar won against host Buducnost (5-5) 84-78. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Buducnost won fourth quarter 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mornar Bar players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Georgian-American guard Jacob Pullen (183-89, college: Kansas St.) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 assists. Serbian center Uros Lukovic (213-89, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Mornar Bar players scored in double figures. Guard Nikola Ivanovic (190-94, agency: BeoBasket) replied with 17 points and 4 assists and Canadian-Nigerian forward Melvin Ejim (201-91, college: Iowa St., agency: BeoBasket) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Buducnost. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mornar Bar moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Buducnost.
