Undefeated leader FC Porto delivered the tenth consecutive victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Lusitania (7-4) 82-73 in Angra. They outrebounded Lusitania 43-23 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. Power forward Eric Anderson (204-93, college: New Haven, agency: Duran International) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Bradley Tinsley (190-89, college: Vanderbilt, agency: Promo Sport ID) contributed with 14 points and 7 assists for the winners. FC Porto's coach Moncho Lopez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Montell Goodwin (188-95, college: EIU) answered with 18 points and guard Antonio Woods (185, college: Pennsylvania) added 11 points in the effort for Lusitania. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. FC Porto (10-0) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row.
