Regular Season Round 11: Cibona - Igokea 80-88

Very expected game in Zagreb where 10th ranked Croatian Cibona (3-8) was defeated by third ranked Bosnian Igokea (8-2) 88-80. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American-Kazakhstan point guard Anthony Clemmons (187-94, college: Iowa, agency: BeoBasket) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 6 assists. Serbian guard Stefan Pot (194-94) accounted for 16 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Five Igokea players scored in double figures. Power forward Filip Bundovic (203-94, agency: XL Basketball Agency) came up with 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and American guard Scottie Reynolds (185-87, college: Villanova, agency: Wasserman) added 21 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) respectively for Cibona in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Igokea have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending Bosnian champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Mornar Bar. Cibona at the other side keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. Igokea will play against league's leader Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cibona will play on the road against Zadar (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
