The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated ADA Blois (4-1) on the court of sixth ranked Saint Chamond on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Saint Chamond 85-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of ADA Blois. Saint Chamond made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by ADA Blois helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Power forward Jerome Cazenobe (204-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds. American swingman Marcus Relphorde (198-88, college: Colorado) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Saint Chamond players scored in double figures. Center Mathis Dossou-Yovo (205-0) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds and Benjamin Monclar (191-88) added 18 points and 4 assists (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) in the effort for ADA Blois. ADA Blois' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Saint Chamond (3-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. ADA Blois at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Saint Chamond is looking forward to face Quimper UJAP (#8) on the road in the next round. ADA Blois will play against SPO Rouen (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
