Leader Lokomotiv-2 delivered the sixteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 7th ranked CSKA Junior (11-9) 76-63 in Krasnodar. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CSKA Junior. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 13 points. Lokomotiv-2 forced 23 CSKA Junior turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lokomotiv-2 made 7 blocks. At the losing side forward Filipp Gafurov (207-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and guard Oleg Akramov (202-3) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lokomotiv-2 maintains first place with 16-6 record. Loser CSKA Junior dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with MBA-2. Lokomotiv-2 will meet Unics-2 (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CSKA Junior's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Moscow Runa-2.
