Very expected game when 14th ranked Olginate (1-3) was defeated at home by top-ranked Vigevano (4-0) 78-70 on Saturday. Vigevano made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Olginate turnovers. Olginate was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Filippo Rossi (193-97) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Nicolo Gatti (196-91) who added 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. Vigevano's coach Paolo Piazza used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side point guard Giacomo Bloise (180-90) responded with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Filippo Giannini (184-91) scored 16 points (made all of his eight free throws). Vigevano have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of B leader. Loser Olginate dropped to the eleventh place with three games lost. Vigevano will face Pavia (#13) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Olginate will play against Cremona and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
