Regular Season Round 10: Titebi - Cactus 65-75

We should mention about the upset which took place in Tbilisi, where higher ranked Titebi (3-4) lost at home to ninth ranked Cactus (3-5) 65-75 on Saturday. Titebi was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Titebi 44-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. The game was dominated by American players. Forward AJ Sumbry (203-94, college: Wagner, agency: Players Group) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Samajae Haynes-Jones (183-96, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 26 points and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side forward Tylan Birts (195-96, college: Barry, agency: Green Sports Management) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Jordon Talley (185-95, college: UNCW) scored 9 points and 7 assists. Cactus moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Batumi and Vera. Loser Titebi keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Cactus will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Titebi will play against Batumi (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
