Bottom-ranked Al Rayyan is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to seventh ranked Qatar Club (2-3) 80-69. Qatar Club outrebounded Al Rayyan 44-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. Bosnian-Serbian power forward Miroslav Todic (205-85) stepped up and scored 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and American guard Baden Jaxen (191-90, college: UNC) chipped in 24 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. American Tavarion Nix (201-92, college: Midwestern St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import Musa Abdul-Aleem (196-88, college: Troy) scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Qatar Club moved-up to sixth place. Al Rayyan at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Qatar Club's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Doha to the arena Al Arabi.
