The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Kagawa FA's (10-13) home victory over 7th ranked Orange Vikings (7-14) in Takamatsu 94-84 on Saturday. His fellow American import forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) contributed with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American-Filipino forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: LBSU) answered with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Perry Ellis (203-93, college: Kansas) added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Orange Vikings. Four Kagawa FA and five Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. Orange Vikings' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Kagawa FA have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 10-13 record. Orange Vikings lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 14 games lost. Kagawa FA will face again Orange Vikings (#7) in Matsuyama in the next round.
