The most exciting game of round 12 in the Premier League took place in Minsk. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Olimpia (8-4) to second ranked Tsmoki-Minsk (11-1) 88-85 in the game for the second place. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 32-15 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Britney Jones (174-87, college: UAB, agency: LBM Management) who scored 29 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Katsiaryna Rybalka (182-98) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Four Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. Olimpia's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tsmoki-Minsk have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 11-1 record behind leader Gorizont. Olimpia at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. Tsmoki-Minsk's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk BDU Tsmoki.
