Regular Season Round 11: Univ.Valladolid - La Fecha 69-67

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked La Fecha (2-4) was edged on the road by ninth ranked Univ.Valladolid (2-4) 69-67 on Tuesday. It was a great evening for Javier Martinez (187-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Alejandro Pescador (180-97) helped adding 12 points and 5 rebounds. Center Hector Parras (198-89) responded with 10 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Daniel Garcia (190-91) scored 13 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Univ.Valladolid moved-up to seventh place in Group A-B, which they share with Zamora and La Fecha. Univ.Valladolid will face higher ranked Bezana (#5) in Santa Cruz de Bezana in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
