Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Doha: Al Gharafa (#1) and Al Sadd (#5). Al Sadd was defeated at home 57-65 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Al Gharafa forced 25 Al Sadd turnovers. American center Tyler Harris (208-93, college: Auburn) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and international forward Nedim Muslic (197-98) supported him with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Harris is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Al Gharafa players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 6 rebounds by international forward Babacar Dieng (197-97) did not help to save the game for Al Sadd. Greek Fotios Lampropoulos (206-83) added 14 points and 11 rebounds. Al Gharafa (5-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. Al Sadd at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. Al Gharafa's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Doha to the arena Al Ahli.
