Regular Season Round 22: Gargzdu - Neptunas-Akv. 82-79

Eighth-ranked Neptunas-Akv. (5-9) was very close to win a game against fifth ranked Gargzdu (10-4) in Gargzdai. Gargzdu managed to secure only three-point victory 82-79. However their fans expected easier game. Center Oskaras Pleikys (202-1) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Deividas Anuzis (183-92) chipped in 11 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Five Gargzdu players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Nojus Mineikis (201-0) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Lukas Kreismontas (197-1) scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Simonas Serapinas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gargzdu maintains fifth position with 10-4 record. Neptunas-Akv. lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with nine games lost. Gargzdu will play against Telsiai (#6) in Telsiu in the next round. Neptunas-Akv. will play on the road against Vilnius and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
