Regular Season Round 6: Craiova - Sibiu 81-84

Craiova (1-1) recorded its first loss at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by third ranked Sibiu (4-1) 84-81. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 44-37 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Sibiu shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was American-German forward Isaiah Philmore (203-89, college: Xavier) who scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Marquis Addison (193-91, college: MSSU) chipped in 20 points. At the other side the best for losing team was international swingman Dragos Diculescu (196-99) who recorded 22 points and American Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Four Craiova players scored in double figures. Sibiu moved-up to second place. Craiova at the other side dropped to the ninth position with one game lost. They share it with Dinamo B.. Sibiu are looking forward to face Oradea (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Craiova will play against Constanta (#15) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
