Regular Season Round 5: Yulon Luxgen - Jutai Techn. 83-72

An interesting game for Yulon Luxgen (7-3) which played against 4th placed Jutai Techn. (3-6). Second ranked Yulon Luxgen managed to get a 11-point victory 83-72. U.S. Virgin Islands forward Rakeem Christmas (206-91, college: Syracuse) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and forward Ba Ban (203-97) chipped in 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. Forward Lan-Deng Bu (200-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and the former international guard Huan-Ya Yu (183-93) scored 21 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yulon Luxgen have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Jutai Techn. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with six games lost. Yulon Luxgen will again play against Jutai Techn. (#4) in the next round. Jutai Techn. will play against Bank of Taiwan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
