Regular Season Round 12: Buducnost - Krka 70-62

There was no surprise in Podgorica where 7th ranked Slovenian Krka (5-7) was defeated by fifth ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (8-1) 70-62. Buducnost outrebounded Krka 30-13 including 20 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Canadian-Nigerian forward Melvin Ejim (201-91, college: Iowa St., agency: BeoBasket) who scored that evening 10 points and 9 rebounds and Italian Amedeo Della Valle (192-93, college: Ohio St., agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 14 points and 4 assists. Four Buducnost players scored in double figures. Even 24 points by Croatian forward Jure Skific (202-88, agency: 011 Sports) did not help to save the game for Krka. American guard Roderick Camphor (191-92, college: SWOSU) added 10 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Buducnost maintains fifth position with 8-1 record. Krka at the other side dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. Buducnost's next round opponent will be league's leader Igokea in Aleksandrovac and it may be quite challenging game. Krka will play at home against FMP (#12) and hope to win that game.
