Regular Season Round 12: FMP - Mega 91-92

One of the most interesting games of round 12 was a derby match between two teams from Serbia. The game took place in Belgrade where fourth ranked Mega SoccerBet edged host FMP (2-8) 92-91. They outrebounded FMP 44-30 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mega SoccerBet players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for Filip Petrusev (211-0, college: Gonzaga, agency: BeoBasket) who saved his team from a defeat with 25 points and 8 rebounds. Montenegrin center Marko Simonovic (210-99) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Filip Covic (178-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 assists and 4 steals and guard Nemanja Nenadic (197-94) added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for FMP. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Mega SoccerBet maintains fourth position with 9-3 record. FMP lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with eight games lost. Mega SoccerBet will play against Cedevita Olimpija (#6) in Ljubljana in the next round. FMP will play at home against Cedevita Olimpija (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
