Very predictable result when fourth ranked Hapoel H/M (5-2) defeated at home 13th ranked Hasharon (2-6) 88-84 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Hapoel H/M looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The best player for the winners was Storm Warren (211-88, college: LSU) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists. LaceDarius Dunn (193-87, college: Baylor) chipped in 21 points and 6 assists. Hapoel H/M's coach Nati Cohen used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard JeQuan Lewis (186-94, college: VCU) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists and forward Eric Stutz (205-92, college: EKU, agency: Players Group) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel H/M moved-up to third place, which they share with M.Ashdod. Loser Hasharon keeps the thirteenth position with six games lost. Hapoel H/M will meet at home H.Ramat Gan (#5) in the next round. Hasharon will have a break next round.
