Sixth-ranked Dinamo (3-5) made lots of trouble for second ranked TSU (7-3) in Tbilisi on Saturday. TSU managed to secure only two-point victory 104-102. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-10. But Dinamo won second period 27-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Dinamo used huge pressure winning it 17-14 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually double-overtime period 15-11. TSU made 28-of-31 free shots (90.3 percent) during the game. Dinamo was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Quintin Dove (201-98, college: UT Martin) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. The other American import point guard Brandon Sly (180-96, college: ASU) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was international point guard Luka Bulashvili (192-98) who recorded 27 points and American guard Tyler Williams (196-96, college: San Diego, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 24 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Five TSU and four Dinamo players scored in double figures. Dinamo's coach Muhammed Muya Tachi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. TSU maintains second position with 7-3 record behind leader Kutaisi. Dinamo at the other side keeps the sixth place with five games lost. TSU will have a break next round. Dinamo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Cactus.
