Regular Season Round 9: Orzinuovi - Treviglio 108-97

Another interesting game for Orzinuovi (4-3) which hosted 4th placed Treviglio (3-3). Eighth ranked Orzinuovi had an easy win 108-97. Orzinuovi shot 62.1 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 58.6 percentage. Orzinuovi players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American point guard Anthony Miles (184-89, college: Lamar) stepped up and scored 32 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and Martino Mastellari (193-96) chipped in 26 points. The best for the losing side was Slovenian forward Mitja Nikolic (200-91) with 21 points and 7 assists and American point guard JJ Frazier (178-95, college: Georgia) scored 21 points. Four Orzinuovi and five Treviglio players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Orzinuovi have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Cd'Orlando. Treviglio at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Orzinuovi will play against Trapani (#11) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Treviglio will play against Casale (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
