Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked CAB Madeira (5-7) edged on the road 10th ranked Ovarense (3-9) 87-85 on Tuesday. CAB Madeira looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for point guard Diogo Gameiro (181-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists. Lithuanian center Robertas Grabauskas (208-90, college: Northwood) contributed with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Isaac Johnson (206-98, college: App State) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and international point guard Pedro Bastos (186-94) added 19 points and 8 assists in the effort for Ovarense.
