An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Badalona. First ranked Spanish Joventut faced second-ranked French JL Bourg. Host Joventut (8-2) defeated guests from Bourg (6-4) 90-75. The game was mostly controlled by Joventut. JL Bourg was better in third quarter 26-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Joventut players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Xabier Lopez-Arostegui (200-97) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Slovakian forward Vladimir Brodziansky (211-94, college: TCU, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 15 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Serbian guard Danilo Andjusic (194-91) came up with 16 points and British-Canadian forward Thomas Scrubb (199-91, college: Carleton) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for JL Bourg in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Joventut have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-2 record, which they share with Gran Canaria and Lokomotiv. JL Bourg at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost.
