A very interesting game took place in Zaragoza. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 16th ranked Real Betis (4-13) to seventeenth ranked Zaragoza (5-12) 96-95 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Real Betis. Zaragoza made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was a good game for Canadian-Jamaican point guard Dylan Ennis (187-91, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) who saved his team from a defeat with 24 points and 7 assists. International forward Jonathan Barreiro (205-97) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Zaragoza players scored in double figures. Dominican-American James Feldeine (193-88, college: Quinnipiac) replied with 32 points and Ghanian-French swingman Yakuba Ouattara (192-92, agency: BeoBasket) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Real Betis. Real Betis' coach Joan Plaza rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zaragoza moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Fuenlabrada. Real Betis at the other side dropped to the seventeenth position with 13 games lost. Zaragoza's next round opponent will be higher ranked Movil Estudiantes (#14) in Madrid and it may be quite challenging game. Real Betis will play at home against Burgos and hope to win that game.
