Important game to mention about took place in Gaziantep. Ninth ranked Buyukcekmece (7-7) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging higher ranked Gaziantep (7-7) 66-65 in the game for the fifth place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gaziantep. It was a great evening for British center Gabriel Olaseni (211-91, college: Iowa) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). American swingman Osiris Eldridge (191-88, college: Illinois St.) helped adding 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Buyukcekmece players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was French center Mouhammadou Jaiteh (211-94) with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and American Trevis Simpson (193-91, college: UNCG) scored 19 points. Buyukcekmece moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Tofas and Gaziantep. Buyukcekmece will face bottom-ranked Bursaspor (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gaziantep will play against the league's leader Anadolu Efes (#1) and hope to win that game.
