Regular Season Round 14: BAC - Randers 80-97

An interesting game for Randers (11-3) which played road game in Aarhus against 4th ranked BAC (2-10). Third ranked Randers had an easy win 97-80. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 57-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Randers dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to BAC's 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Brantley Bynum (196-94, college: SF State) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Chris Nielsen (193-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Four Randers players scored in double figures. American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: MSSU) replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Marius Kirkholt (183-97) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for BAC. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Randers have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. BAC lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with ten games lost. Randers are looking forward to face league's leader Wolfpack in Herlev in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BAC will play on the road against Naestved and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
