Regular Season Round 12: Ludwigsburg - Ulm 89-87

Seventh-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (6-5) was very close to win a game against first ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (11-1) on Saturday. EnBW Ludwigsburg managed to secure only two-point victory 89-87. However their fans expected much easier game. It was a good game for American point guard Jordan Hulls (180-90, college: Indiana) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import guard Jaleen Smith (193-94, college: UNH) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Austrian guard Thomas Klepeisz (186-91, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 17 points and 4 assists and American guard Troy Caupain (193-95, college: Cincinnati) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for ratiopharm Ulm. Five EnBW Ludwigsburg and four ratiopharm Ulm players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. EnBW Ludwigsburg have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record. ratiopharm Ulm at the other side keeps the seventh place with five games lost.
