Regular Season Round 6: Nancy - Fos-Provence 76-71

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Provence Basket (3-2) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Sluc Nancy (3-2) 76-71 on Saturday. Sluc Nancy looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American Ronald Lewis (193-84, college: Ohio St., agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 16 points. Meredis Houmounou (188-88) chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Edouard Choquet (188-88) who recorded 11 points and 7 assists and naturalized Central African Allan Dokossi (203-99) added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sluc Nancy moved-up to sixth place, which they share with St-Quentin and Fos-Provence. Sluc Nancy will face Saint Chamond (#10) on the road in the next round.
