ALM Evreux can celebrate finally their first win this season after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Gries/Oberhoffen (1-4) 79-74. Strangely Gries/Oberhoffen outrebounded ALM Evreux 44-29 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American power forward Amadou Sidibe (203-94, college: Fairfield, agency: Players Group) notched 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and power forward Fabien Paschal (205-91) supported him with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by Spanish point guard Josep Franch (192-91) did not help to save the game for Gries/Oberhoffen. American forward Brandon Edwards (198-91, college: UT Arlington) added 14 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ALM Evreux left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place, which they share with Gries/Oberhoffen and Lille. It was Gries/Oberhoffen's third loss in a row.
