Regular Season Round 11: Shumen - Showtime 66-62

The biggest surprise took place in Shumen where host Shumen (1-2) beat league's leader Showtime (4-1) 66-62 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Showtime. The best player for the winners was point guard Simeon Georgiev (183-99) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 assists. Power forward Kiril Kirilov (205-94) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Krasimir Dimitrov (195-98) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and Aleksandar Ivanov added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Newly promoted Shumen maintains sixth place with 1-2 record. Showtime at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the second position with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by UE Varna. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
