Denain Voltaire managed to secure a 7-point victory 69-62 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Saint-Quentin. It was an exceptional evening for Croatian forward David Skara (203-95, college: Clemson) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. DR Congolese-Belgian power forward Ruphin Kayembe (201-92) accounted for 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Denain Voltaire players scored in double figures. Point guard Hugo Besson (191-1) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds and American-Jamaican center Ryan Rhoomes (203-92, college: Fordham) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Saint-Quentin in the defeat. Denain Voltaire have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 5-2 record behind leader Blois. Loser Saint-Quentin dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Denain Voltaire will meet at home league's leader ADA Blois in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
