Important game to mention about took place in Aanekoski. Third ranked Huima (9-5) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Kipina (7-7) 89-87 on Thursday evening. Kipina was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 23-19 charge of Huima, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard Johnathan Hudson (180-87, college: Texas A&M) scored 29 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Kavaughn Scott (201-98, college: Loyola, MD) chipped in 25 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American forward Antonio Bivins (198-92, college: UMass Lowell) responded with 28 points and 9 rebounds and French Steve Robinson scored 22 points and 5 assists. Four Kipina players scored in double figures. Huima maintains third position in 1st Division with 9-5 record having four points less than leader FoKoPo. Newly promoted Kipina keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. Huima will play against league's leader FoKoPo in Forssa in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kipina will play at home against Pyrinto Ak.B (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
