Very expected game when 14th ranked Andratx (1-15) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Segle XXI (8-10) 67-61 on Saturday. Segle XXI forced 21 Andratx turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Gisela Sanchez (191-3) fired 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Marina Manosa (-4) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. Nigerian forward Nkem Akaraiwe (185-96) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Finnish guard Sara Rokkanen (178-96, college: Toledo) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Segle XXI maintains eighth position with 8-10 record. Andratx lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth place with 15 games lost.
