There was a minor upset in Klaipeda where 9th ranked Vilkaviskis (10-12) was defeated by eleventh ranked Neptunas-Akv. (9-13) 88-72 on Tuesday. Neptunas-Akv. outrebounded Vilkaviskis 43-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Adomas Sidarevicius (188-1) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and forward Gediminas Lesciauskas (195-1) who added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Neptunas-Akv. players scored in double figures. The former international Martynas Linkevicius (196-85, agency: BIG) responded with 26 points and 7 rebounds and guard Edgaras Stanionis (195-88) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Neptunas-Akv. have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Vilnius. Newly promoted Vilkaviskis keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost.
