There was no surprise in Hod Hasharon where 11th ranked Bnei Hasharon (3-9) was defeated by sixth ranked Hapoel Holon (7-4) 85-71. It was a good game for American guard Tyrus McGee (188-91, college: Iowa St., agency: Alti Sport) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 5 assists. His fellow American import Chris Johnson (198-90, college: Dayton) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Coty Clarke (201-92, college: Arkansas) answered with 11 points and 8 rebounds and the former international Elishay Kadir (202-87, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Five Hapoel Holon and four Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. Bnei Hasharon's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hapoel Holon moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Bnei Hasharon keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Hapoel Holon will play against Ironi Nes-Ziona (#9) in Nes Ziyona in the next round. Bnei Hasharon will have a break next round.
