D1 top team - Ramla (8-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Ramat Hasharon (3-6) 102-54. Ramla dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Ramat Hasharon's 34 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Ramat Hasharon 50-30 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ramla looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a quality performance for guard Tiffany Mitchell (175-94, college: S.Carolina) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Betnijah Laney (183-93, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Five Ramla players scored in double figures. Guard Jennie Simms (183-94, college: ODU) came up with 27 points and 9 rebounds and guard Jackie Young (183-97, college: Notre Dame, agency: Wasserman) added 9 points respectively for Ramat Hasharon in the defeat.
