Regular Season Round 9: Blois - Quimper 83-68

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked ADA Blois as it allowed them to take a leadership position. ADA Blois defeated 5th ranked Quimper UJAP at home 83-68. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Quimper UJAP. ADA Blois made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Benjamin Monclar (191-88) who helped to win the game recording 24 points. Center Mathis Dossou-Yovo (205-0) contributed with 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. ADA Blois' coach Mickael Hay used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bathiste Tchouaffe (196-98) answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American David Jackson (192-86, college: W.Illinois) added 14 points in the effort for Quimper UJAP. ADA Blois have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Quimper UJAP at the other side keeps the fifth place with one game lost. Quimper UJAP will play next round against Lille Metropole trying to get back on the winning streak. ADA Blois will try to continue on its current victory against eleventh ranked ALM Evreux on the road.
