The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Tours as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Tours defeated 8th ranked Vendee Challans at home 76-67. Tours dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Vendee Challans' 28. It was a great evening for American-Icelandic forward Michael Craion (195-89, college: ORU, agency: Inception Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Jeremy Bichard (186-90) helped adding 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Tours players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian-Montenegrin center Nemanja Kovanusic (204-93) with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Romain Dardaine (201-88) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Saint Vallier. Vendee Challans at the other side keeps the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with Lourdes and Orchies. Vendee Challans will play next round against Lourdes-Tarbes trying to get back on the winning streak. Tours will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Rueil on the road.
