Regular Season Round 10: Alessandria - Rimini 59-72

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Alessandria (0-10) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Rimini (7-3) 72-59 on Saturday. Forward Nicholas Crow (199-89) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Eugenio Rivali (178-86) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Rimini players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Giancarlo Galipo (180-0) responded with 15 points and point guard Marco Giancarli (179-95) scored 10 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rimini maintains fourth position in B with 7-3 record, which they share with Bernareggio. Loser Alessandria still closes the standings with ten games lost. Rimini will face Oleggio (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Alessandria will play against Alba (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
