Important game to mention about took place in Sakiai. Seventh ranked Palanga (16-12) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging second-best Vytis (21-7) 70-68 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vytis. Palanga dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Vytis' 26. Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-85, college: Virginia) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Chase Harler (191-98, college: WVU) chipped in 14 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international center Ksistof Lavrinovic (210-79) with 10 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Sarunas Vingelis (196-89) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Vytis players scored in double figures. Palanga maintains seventh position with 16-12 record. Vytis at the other side keeps the second place with seven games lost.
