Second Stage Round 4: Young Angels - MBK Ruzomb. 67-72

The game between Top Four teams took place in Kosice. 4th ranked host Young Angels (0-4) lost to second ranked MBK Ruzomberok (3-1) 72-67. MBK Ruzomberok forced 24 Young Angels turnovers. The winners were led by American-Nigerian forward Nicole Enabosi (187-97, college: Delaware) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and international forward Miroslava Prazenicova (184-97) supported her with 17 points and 4 assists. Four MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. Even 12 points and 7 rebounds by the former international center Anna Jurcenkova (195-85) did not help to save the game for Young Angels. Center Denisa Blanarova (186-97) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Young Angels' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion used an opportunity after Piestanske C. lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Young Angels at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Nova Ves. MBK Ruzomberok will play against league's leader Piestanske C. in Piestany in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Young Angels will play at home against Samorin and hope to get finally their first victory.
