Swingman Marcos Fernandez (191-99) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. DR Congolese forward Steve Kuminga (198-96, college: CCC) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Joel Martinez (-2) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Iker Besada (180-95) added 15 points in the effort for PBB. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. PBB's coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Leon moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser PBB dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Leon will face Obradoiro S. (#3) in Santiago de Comp in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
